Governance & Statutes
General Council
Composition
The General Council is made up of:
- representatives of the territories;
- territorial referents;
- members drawn by lot, who make up at least a quarter of the Council.
Responsibilities
The General Council sets the main orientations, appoints the presidents, oversees the action of the Executive Board and adopts the rules of procedure. It meets at least four times a year.
Members drawn by lot
Any member may apply to be drawn by lot. The draw is transparent and impartial, ensures parity between women and men, and reserves one fifth of the seats for local organisers. Members drawn by lot sit for a single term of three years.
The General Council has not yet been constituted. The call for applications will be announced to members.
